Believe me, I know very well how lucky I am. However, my youngest struggles with thick or crusty bread. His favorite sandwich is the Hawaiian candy. We put meat, mustard, cheese and pickles on his list like a sandwich and he gets excited. Other great ideas include stuffing the crust into buns and topping it with roast beef and cheddar. You can repeat this in your oven in minutes for a rare sandwich. The cooking portion is very small and you don't need extensive knowledge to prepare or enjoy these easy snacks.

Ingredients and spices needed to make a vanilla ice cream cake:
- 1 kg frozen cake, thawed
- 3/4 cup Nestlé cream
- 1 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 4 cups Nestlé vanilla ice cream, soft but not melted
- 1 packet of 250ml Nestlé frozen whipped cream

Steps to make vanilla cake frosting
- Cut the pound cake into 1/8 inch slices. Spread half on bottom of 9-inch pan; Press firmly and keep the rest of the pieces aside.
- Bring the Nestlé cream to the boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from fire. Add the milk chocolate chips. Leave for 5 minutes. Beat until well combined and smooth. Pour half of the chocolate mixture over the pound cake in the pan, spreading evenly to cover the top of the pound cake. Cover and then refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours or until chocolate is set.
- Combine softened Nestlé Vanilla Ice Cream and Nestlé Whipped Cream in a large bowl. Fold the kit. Spread the chocolate layer in the mold. Then cover and refrigerate until ice cream is firm, about two hours.
- Ice cream with the remaining pound cake slices. Press firmly. Spread remaining chocolate mixture over pound cake. Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
