- 5-6 Tbsp ghee

- as required Whole garam masala of - bay leaf, 3-4 cloves, 3-4 green cardamoms, 1†cinnamon stick, 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 Tbsp saffron infused water
- 1 Tbsp keora water
- as required For garnish - onions rings and coriander leaves
Instructions to make to make Shahi Chicken Korma
- Marinate the chicken with red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Marinate for 15 mins
- In a wok add 4 Tbsp ghee and add the sliced onions. Fry on medium heat and set aside on a kitchen towel. In a bowl add hot water and cashew nuts and soak for 10 mins
- Add the fried onions and cashew nuts to a blender and adding little water make a paste. Set aside
- In the same wok and add rest of the ghee and add whole garam masala. Add marinated chicken. Fry on high heat for 5 mins.
- In a bowl add curd, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and whisk well.
- Add this curd to the chicken and at the same time keep stirring. On low flame cook covered for 25 mins stirring in intervals
- Add the fried onion-cashew nut paste and keep covered for 5 mins on low flame. Keep stirring in intervals
- Add saffron infused water, keora water and salt. Mix well. Cook covered for 3 mins
